A few weeks ago, we posted a search engine for people who had previously financed their home with an FHA loan. The search revealed people to whom HUD owes a refund. A lot people responded and thanked us for the post, so here are a couple of other sites you can use to search if someone owes you money.
The first site allows you to check if you or someone you know has an unclaimed pension. The second site allows you to check if you or a business has an unclaimed bill, note or bond. In fact, each year, more than 15,000 savings bonds and 25,000 payments are returned to the Department of the Treasury as undeliverable.
