To qualify for Homestead Exemption in 2017, people who have recently bought primary residences need to live in them by Dec. 31, 2016. With that in mind, we wanted to let you know about our current underwriting turn times as the New Year approaches.
- Your files can be submitted to underwriting on the same day when the contract and loan application are received.
- Initial underwrites 48 hours
- Follow-up underwrites 24-48 hours
- It’s possible to close on the same day as receiving a Clear to Close (TRID compliant)
Please don’t think of us as loan officers, but more like underwriters who can troubleshoot your file before writing it in a fashion that has the least hurdles to get a Clear to Close.
