Florida’s Hometown Heroes Program is officially back for 2025! Funds are expected to become available on August 18th.

This program was created to help the people who serve our communities every day by providing down payment and closing cost assistance for first-time home-buyers working full-time in eligible professions, including:

  • Teachers

  • Healthcare Workers

  • First Responders

  • Military Members

To qualify, you’ll need to:

  • Work full-time in an eligible occupation

  • Purchase a primary residence in Florida

  • Meeting certain income and purchase price limits (which vary by county)
